Exploration of Japanese Spatial ConceptsÂ
Exploration of Japanese Spatial ConceptsÂ
Traditional screens were used to divide space, light, and sightlines, reflecting spatial movement. The decorative themes of traditional screens embodied the passage of time.
The exhibition installation controls light and sightlines through the reflective properties of brass, demonstrating spatial changes.
At the same time, the installation reflects temporal movement through visitors' physical movement, allowing them to experience the interplay of time, material, space, and light simultaneously.
